What founders should never do in UGC (compliance + trust)

A single bad claim can get ads rejected or worse.

Never:

  • make medical claims

  • compare to competitors by name

  • fake testimonials

  • hide paid partnerships (if applicable)

  • show results without context

Always:

  • show real usage

  • show disclaimers when needed

  • be precise: “reduces redness” beats “cures acne”

  • be honest about who it’s for (skin type, sizing, etc.)

Trust compounds faster than virality.
