Collabilator — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Collabilator to you, the client ("you," "your"). Collabilator is a trading name of Smolfund, a company registered in England and Wales In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Smolfund trading as Collabilator. By booking a call, accepting a quote, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

Collabilator is a user-generated content (UGC) service. We match brands with creators and manage the briefing, production, and delivery of short-form video content. The exact deliverables — number of videos, creators, and inclusions — are defined by the package or written quote you accept.

2. Quotes and scope

Each project is defined by the package or written quote we agree on. Anything outside that scope (extra videos, additional creators, added usage rights, rush delivery, or other add-ons) is quoted and billed separately, and only begins once you approve it.

3. Payment

  • Prices are stated in [INR / your currency]. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due in full before production begins. For larger projects we may agree a deposit, with the balance due on delivery.

  • Accepted payment methods are shown on your invoice.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once creators have been briefed or production has started.

  • Monthly or retainer plans renew automatically each month until cancelled with 7 days' notice before the next billing date.

4. Your responsibilities

To keep your project on schedule, you agree to provide a clear brief, any products or materials needed for filming, and timely feedback and approvals. Delays in providing these will extend delivery timelines accordingly.

5. Revisions

Each package includes the number of revision rounds stated in your quote. Additional revisions are available for an extra fee. Revisions cover reasonable changes to the agreed brief — they do not cover new concepts or re-shoots caused by a change to the brief after work has begun.

6. Timelines

We share estimated delivery timelines for each project. These are estimates and depend on you providing what we need on time and on creator availability. We are not responsible for delays caused by client-side hold-ups, product shipping, or events outside our reasonable control.

7. Usage rights

  • You receive the usage rights stated in your package or quote (for example, organic social use, or paid advertising use for a set period).

  • Usage rights transfer to you only once payment for the project is received in full.

  • Using content beyond the agreed rights — for example, running paid ads when only organic rights were purchased, or extending an ad-usage period — requires an additional licensing fee.

8. Creators

Creators are sourced, matched, and managed by Collabilator. You agree not to directly hire, contract, or solicit any creator introduced to you through Collabilator for UGC or similar work outside of Collabilator for 12 months after your project, without our written agreement. This protects the creator relationships that make our service possible.

9. Content and portfolio

Once a project is paid in full, you may use the delivered content for your brand's marketing in line with the agreed usage rights. Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may feature the work we create for you in our own portfolio and marketing. Let us know if you need a project kept confidential.

10. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel a project before production begins; any non-refundable deposit will be retained. Once creators are briefed or production has started, fees for work already done or committed are non-refundable. For retainer plans, cancel with 7 days' notice before your next billing date.

11. Liability

Our services are provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee specific marketing results, reach, or sales from the content. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project.

12. Confidentiality

Each of us agrees to keep the other's non-public information confidential and to use it only for the purpose of delivering the project.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you accept a quote or make a payment applies to that project.

15. Governing law
